Multi-faceted, Fay DeMeyer is known for her boundless energy and zest for life!  She brings humor and the hope of Christ wherever she goes, lavishly sharing love and freedom in Christ!  As a radio personality, speaker, actress, a college professor, teacher, counselor, and business owner, she commits her all to every door the Lord opens for her—and she has had many doors opened for her!

Fay’s radio show, The FayDay Show, promotes over-comers.  With one of the most riveting over-coming stories you may ever hear, she exemplifies how to thrive—not just survive! Her message is one that compels others to change and never settle being a victim. She has spoken at women’s conferences, retreats, churches, as well corporate, and governmental agency events. Well respected, she has sat on many governmental and ministry boards—including Oregon Governor’s Boards. Her list of accomplishments and involvements are vast.

As an educated women, Fay is All But Dissertation on Her Doctoral Degrees from University of Phoenix, holds a Masters in Special Education, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She is currently a professor and Counseling Chair at New Hope Christian College and on faculty at University of Phoenix and Chemeketa Community College.

Fay is married to Phillip DeMeyer. She has three children, and two grandchildren, and tiny adorable dog, named Elle. She loves to hike, bike, paint, and spend time in the company of those who love Jesus and honor Him with their lives.

Fay’s Vitae

Fay holds a bachelors in Psychology, a masters in Education and All but dissertation  from a doctoral degree in education from UOP.

Fay  and her husband reside in Keizer, Oregon. They are emptinesters with a great little dog (1/2 Chihuahua, ½ toy Poodle) named Ellie (she is 2.5 lbs., she is very sweet).

Fay has three grown children and one lovely granddaughter! 2.5 years Friday the 29th of April.  

Fay is just cruising through life with the following on her plate:

  • President of Professional Freedom Development, LLC. Consulting firm for businesses in a broad range of areas.


  • For 15 months I served as Branch Manager of Qualified Staffing, in Salem and Newberg (60+hours per week). We staffed all levels of employment. We were a full service Human Resources office.
  • For 9 years Fay DeMeyer served as a Transition Coordinator for the Oregon Department of Corrections provided development and implementation of transitional services for inmates leaving the Oregon Department of Corrections.
  • Fay has consulted with Oregon/Nevada Prisons Federal for Re-Entry and working on a Halfway House in Portland.


  • Fay sat on two Governor’s Advisory Groups one on Ending Chronic Homelessness, and the second Ending Hunger.


  • Adjunct instructor at Chemeketa Community College: Psychology 101 -Human Relations, Organizational and Industrial psychology 104  and Introduction to Psychology, 100 levels.


  • University of Phoenix Faculty: Criminal Justice, Sociology, Human Services and General Education.


  • Fay served 8 years as president of the board of, Stepping Out Ministries, a private non-profit organization that houses, and provides jobs and treatment to ex-offenders.


  • Fay served 2 years on the Board of Gabriel’s Ministry, an organizations who advocates for developmentally delayed offenders released to the community with no resources.


  • Fay enjoys working out, lifting weights, and stair stepping, rowing, and running.
  • She is active in our church, which is very fun, and loves racing cars, motorcycles (as the driver);  She loves to read James Patterson-Mysteries.


  • Fay has been fortunate in 2005 to be part of a casting team for Art and Entertainment Television Studios, around a new show called “Releasing” and a A & E Series called “Getting Out”.
  • She loves Broadway Plays. Loved: “Mama Mia”. …Many ABBA songs. She truly enjoy dancing, Salsa is her favorite,  and finds swing is fun too.
  • I enjoy lots of variety and have had a chance to be a part of a book on generational crime, and was featured with Fox Butterfield in the NY Time in Aug, 2001. Big fun.


  • My dream is to become a consultant internationally around effective correctional educational practices, and offer Organizational Communication training for State, Federal and Private Companies


  • Fay is one of the Salem Chamber Volunteers at the local High School.


  • Fay’s a youth leader at my church for Middle School.


  • Now and then Fay dabbles in comedy (did my first Open Mic in January 2011 at Harvey’s Comedy Club).
